Introducing the first synergy between two of the most prestigious custom kitchen brands in the world

Newport Beach, CA June 22, 2006 - Two of the world's leading luxury custom kitchen cabinetry brands, Wm Ohs and Poggenpohl U.S., Inc., announce the official grand opening of the new, boutique showroom in Newport Beach, California, and the first showroom for both companies in Orange County.

By Proclamation of the Mayor, Don Webb, June 22 is declared, "Wm Ohs - Poggenpohl Day" in Newport Beach. A special grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the new showroom, which is located at 250 Newport Center Drive.

Joining twenty-seven other showrooms representing Wm Ohs across the United States, the Newport Beach showroom is the fifth in California. In addition, this marks the fifth Poggenpohl dealership in California.

All Wm Ohs custom cabinetry is hand-crafted and hand-finished out of their factory in Denver, Colorado. Combining captivating, elegant design with functionality, Wm Ohs has a reputation for excellence in classic styling and precise engineering.

Bill Ohs, the founder of Wm Ohs, is thrilled about the opening of the new showroom. He states, "California has been a wonderful market for Wm Ohs, and we are looking forward to even more growth with the opening of our new showroom in Newport Beach. We are proud to be displayed along side Poggenpohl, and feel confident that this showroom will be a tremendous success."

The Newport Beach showroom is a unique, exquisite space created specifically for displaying luxury kitchens, and for providing customers with the optimal environment for choosing and customizing their dream kitchen whether traditional or contemporary. Each customer receives personal attention and guidance throughout the entire selection and design process.

Laurie B. Haefele, Associate A.I.A., the lead designer and managing partner for the Newport Beach Showroom, says, "Our studio space is architecturally exciting with exposed ceiling beams at fifteen feet high and three walls of full height glass. The room is open, light and inviting, providing a wonderful, dramatic setting for both of these custom kitchen brands."

Currently, Wm Ohs employs over 100 professional craftspeople and engineers who create hand-crafted cabinetry in their 50,000 square foot factory.
